Colbeck Mews

Colbeck Mews runs east off Collingham Road. It is entered through a large stone arch with small pedestrian openings on either side.

Colbeck Mews is cobbled and the houses are mainly painted although some are still brick.

There is also a rather hidden access at the east end from Harrington Gardens.

The stable properties in Colbeck Mews were designed by the architects Ernest George and Peto.

Peto Brothers, their building firm, built Nos. 1-6 between 1883-4.

John Spicer built Nos. 7-11 in 1876-7. Joseph Mears constructed Nos. 12-14 in 1883.
