Roland Way

Roland Way is a small gated street running from the west side of Roland Gardens. It is a cobbled mews mainly consisting of two and three-storey houses.

Some of the houses are painted very bright colours whereas others are just brick. At the southern end there is a terrace of recently built mews houses in brick. There is also a gated entrance to the southern end of the mews from the south west leg of Roland Gardens. Many of the properties have potted shrubs in front and mature creepers growing on the façade. There is quite a variation in style and some of the houses have small bay windows and also windows shaped in a semi-circle which adds visual interest to the street.

There is also a short newly built mews terrace at the north west end of the street.

The north is also dominated by a very mature tree which was perhaps in existence when the west London cricket ground was in this area.
