Sellwood Place is a small street which runs west of Onslow Gardens and is one of the most attractive streets in South Kensington.
The north side consists of a terrace of Georgian three-storey houses, some entirely of brick but some have stucco up to first floor.
The south side has a small terrace of two-storey brick Georgian houses with delightful front gardens. No. 19 is particularly outstanding with an artists style studio window.
The gardens are all of individual design with many shrubs and some very attractive mature trees.
The street is a cul-de-sac with the back of a church at the end. (Years ago there used to be a footpath going by the side of the church and into Cranley Gardens on the other side.)
